Great food!!

Service was excellent, food was served fast and 🔥. Worth the detour off our path.

Super tasty food, great atmosphere, and awesome staff. What more do you need?

Service was a bit slow and had a few mix ups -my husband got the wrong plate which messed up others orders. Typical diner food, filling and inexpensive!

Had good quick service, food was good, fish had a little more breading than I care for but still very good.

My favorite Diner! My normal booth is a safe space for me. Very good, cheap, and fast! Everything you could ask for.

BEST PLACE TO EAT IN TOWN since 1950’s 🤩

We love Mac's! We dined in for the first time in two and a half months. The food is to so good! The service is wonderful. They even keep your coffee cup full buy putting a carafe at the table! But as we sat at the biggest table they have (alone) for most of our wonderful meal, we began to observe. We had worn masks on. No one working had masks on. None of the tables looked to be "held off line" for social distancing? Our concern for health runs deeper than our need to eat out. Especially if it has us going home wondering if our "date" was safe enough. We will try again in a week or so. Mac's may have needed a minute to get in the habit of " post Covid19 cook'in". 🎯

Love this place! Everyone in my family that I've taken here has liked the food, service, and atmosphere. Great prices too. We only come in occasionally though, when we're at our cabin in West Branch. It has a cozy hometown feel to it.

The food here was great! The service was okay, but it was really crowded and busy. My food was perfect, i really recommend they're biscuits and gravy.

I ordered an omelet, and it was delicious! The waitress checked on us often, was very friendly, brought our food quickly. I'm excited to come again!

I've driven by this place countless times but never stopped. We went for Friday Night Fish and wow! This place really impressed me! The fish was fantastic! Best I've had in a while. We both had the cod. Reasonably priced, excellent service and overall nice experience. We will go back for sure!

We love Mac's place and go there at least once when he head north, which is often! We are outside at the patio due to corona. They were efficient and friendly as always. On top of cleaning. I would highly recommend!!

We went to Mac's New Year day and we were thankful to find a place that was open. The food was solid, good diner food, but nothing special. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Food was cold. Undercooked hashbrowns, burnt to a crisp egg and the chocolate chip pancake had barely any chocolate. Cheese fries didnt have nearly enough cheese. Way too pricey for the quality given. Not impressed.

Bacon, cheese omelette and rye toast. Love my Mac's Place breakfast.The servers were on the ball and having a fun morning

The Best Diner in America. Period. I bring my family here every summer on the way Up North, and then again on the way back. Mac's has become part of our Up North routine. It's the best! Huge portions; great, high quality food; superb service; friendly people; and good prices. You can't go wrong. Very highly recommended.

I had a delicious mushroom Swiss burger and a side salad for lunch. The server was so kind and courteous. I would highly recommend take out or dine in at Mac's Place. The breakfasts are awesome also!

Delicious home style cooking. Music was annoying for the type of place... backstreet boys? With a bunch of old people. Food came out fast and hot, but waiters were slow and forgetful after food was brought out. Will definitely go back.

Took a while to get any service to begin with, got our good ordered before we received our drinks. Food came pretty quick, wasnt what i was expecting. Was still good, but could use a little more love from the flavor gods.

We have always heard great things about Mac's place. So today we finally decided to try it out. I watched the table beside us leave a $2 tip & soon found out why. We sat for a good 10 minutes before someone approached us to ask what we would like to drink. When she came back we said we were ready. Our daughter got her eggs & toast a good 10.minutes before we got our food, which is fine but we knew our food was sitting in the back while our waitress took other orders & cleaned a table. Soon enough she brought out our food. By then we had nothing left to drink, she never once came back to ask how our food was, which was cold or if we even wanted a refill. $31 later, I'll not be back. Terrible service & the lady serving us wasnt any kind of happy or helpful. Even when I checked out, she ignored me standing there for a few minutes until the line built up & at that point never asked how things were.

Good place to eat.... usually everything is great but the last time we went, it was under staffed so the service suffered for it.

Never disappoints. Live this little gem. Great food, good size portions, quick service, friendly staff and customers. It has a bit of the old diner atmosphere. A definite must visit.

Hands down the best fish dinner anywhere!

A great place for that greasy American breakfast. Friendly staff and always locals to run into and get the news from.

It's a smaller place but packed with character. The interior is covered in signs with clever sayings on them and our server kept up entertaining slightly sassy banter with the cook when she wasn't working a table (doing a good job checking in with everyone even those in the back). The food isn't fancy or anything to put up on Instagram (although, if the cook is new, maybe it'll get better), but it was good enough to hit the spot on a long drive North.Our 2-year old made a bit of a mess and played with some of the decor, and instead of glaring at us as others elsewhere have done, she made us feel at home and at ease.We stopped in at 4pm but if we're passing through again a little earlier in the day I'd stop in and try their breakfast.Bonus points for giving coffee orders their own personal carafe to top up with!
